S.A. Alfaraj

Sukainah Alfaraj is an International PhD candidate at the LUMC Public Health and Primary Care department. She graduated from Dammam University Medical school and obtained a master’s degree in reproductive science from the University of British Columbia in Canada.  As an MD and a researcher, She realizes the importance of providing physicians and patients with evidence-based decision support tools. Each patient is a unique person with his/her own modifiable and non-modifiable factors that could determine their treatment response. She is  highly interested in precision medicine and prediction modelling. Therefore, her Ph.D. research is mainly about building a prediction model to select Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with a faster disease progression. Besides  academia, Sukainah enjoys traveling ,yoga and reading.
