Ik ben huisarts in de Haagse wijk Rustenburg-Oostbroek en ben gepromoveerd op genderverschillen en preventie. Momenteel ben ik als afdelingshoofd en hoogleraar onder andere betrokken bij onderzoek rondom vrouwspecifieke gezondheidszorg, planetary health, spoedzorg bij ouderen, onbegrepen klachten, post-covid, hypertensie en obesitas. Heel breed dus.

Ik woon in Den Haag en ben moeder van twee kinderen. In mijn vrije tijd, voor zover ik dat heb, vind ik het fijn om te wandelen, te lezen of een serie te binge watchen. Gelukkig vind ik mijn werk heel leuk, dus dat voelt lang niet altijd als werken.
